Our summer vacation

Last week, Monday, we talked about our summer vacation in a speaking class.

First, I tell you about my summer vacation. I went to Osaka with members of my circle from Sep 13 to 17. However, we stayed at a hotel only a day because we went there by ferry. The first night, we slept on ferry, so I couldn’t sleep well. I went to the USJ for the first time and I’m so excited. From August, I began to take lessons in Chinese. My father works in China and recommended me to go there. I enjoy study Chinese.

Second, I’ll tell you about my friends’ summer vacation. Chikako went to Fukuoka with her friends from Sep 5 to 6. There, she went shopping and bought clothes and shoes. Moreover, in summer vacation, she studied for a Mos exam with a textbook. She took lectures of Mos. Kosei also went to Fukuoka with Taku and seniors at KGU on Aug 1. he studied for TOEFL with PC and a notebook. I wish he gets a good score.

Essay 2-02a: My 4 languages

Learning languages is learning culture of its countries. How many languages have you learned? I have learned 4 languages by now. I like to learn languages very much. Now, I tell you about languages I have learned.

First, I have learned Japanese for 20 years. I like Japanese because there are some expressions for one meaning. Since I was little, I like to learn Kanji. When I was a primary schoolchild, I did exercises in Kanji a lot. Recently, I think that I begin to study for a certificate examination for Kanji. I am bad at studying Keigo, but I have to do. I’ll become a working member of society and need to use Keigo.

Second, I have learned English for 8 years. Since I was a junior high school student, I began to study English. When I was a junior high/ high school student, I like English the best. That is why I studied English hard. I would like to be an English teacher, so I study English at KGU. I am bad at listening to English. To improve my ability in listening English, I listen to English music. About three weeks ago, Mr. Tomei taught us English Central, a site we can watch videos and practice our English. I enjoy doing it. Moreover, I study for TOEIC. I have taken TOEIC only two times. In December, I will take TOEIC, so I would like to get a good score.

Third, I take Chinese classes and French class. When I choose classes, I couldn’t decide whether to take Chinese or Korean easily. My father works in China and I was interested in China, so I chose the Chinese class. I began to take private lessons in Chinese from about 2 months ago. My father recommended me to go there. There, I am taught by Chinese. I take French class on Wednesday. Last year, I took French class as the second foreign language. Both of them are so hard for me. Pronunciation of them is so difficult. In addition to that, Chinese has the four tones. Even if pronunciation is collect, you take a mistake in the four tones and it is different in meaning.

These are experiences of learning languages. I would like to master Japanese, English and Chinese and be a trilingual woman. Moreover, I’ll go to the English-speaking world and China and want to get along with people there. I’ll do my best. Please tell me how to learn languages if you have.

My favorite TV/movie star

I like to watch TV and movie. My favorite TV/movie star is a 24-year-old Japanese woman, Keiko Kitagawa. She is a model and an actress. I like her very much. Now, I'll tell you about her. She comes from Hyogo. In 2009, she graduated from Meiji University. Her hobbies are watching TV, listening to music, watching pictures and reading books. My favorite animal

Do you like animals? I like animals. My favorite animal is penguin. They live in the southern hemisphere. Some are 40 centimeters tall, and others are 120 centimters tall. My favorite car

In February, 2010, I took a driver's license, so I can drive a car. I have my car, "mira-Gino". It is dark green, small car. My grandparents bought it for me. It is so cute and I like it very much. However, my favorite car isn't it. My favorite car is the red Lapin. Lapin is a French word and means rabbit. There are some rabbit marks on the Lapin. Shihori, who works together, has a red Lapin. I have ridden in her car some times. Its interior design is also good and it is spacious. The roof of her car is white. It is rare design. She likes the design. I also like it very much. Third, there are a lot of presents from my friends and family. These are a clock, stuffed animals, cushions and so on... My favorite one is a stuffed bee that my little sister gave me on my birthday. This is the first present from her. She had saved her pocket money and bought for me. I was so glad when I got it. When I sleep, I want to hold something in my arms. Her present is very good to hold, so I always sleep, holding it. There are other stuffed animals, foe example, a cute rabbit, a turtle and so on. Moreover, there is a blanket made of toweling. I like it very much! I have used it for about 20 years! My grandmother bought it for me when I was born. I heard that it was expensive a little, maybe, so it can stand long use. It is soft and comfortable. There are a lot of memories on my bed.
